Built temporary 20' table in order to join, or scarf, six sets of three 8' sheets of plywood together and to cut out panels.

Fiberglass tape on chines. Fiberglass sheets epoxied over entire hull. Faired, sanded, and ready for paint.

04/2009 - The sapele and purple heart keel is now in place. Through-bolted to hull bottom with bronze bolts and 3/4" plywood plates epoxied to bottom panel between frames & bulkheads for strength.

Now what? Unhooking the rufus 20 from the trailer
Hmmmmm...we can't drive it back...there's not enough room for the truck. So, how strong are you all feeling?
     
Oh, this boat is too heavy for the two of us!
We can lift it! Oh, maybe not...it's a bit too heavy.

The Rufus 20 is now in its temporary home away from home awaiting topside work.
Voila! There she sits at her new abode. We'll build a temporary shelter and get to work on her decks!
