12/19/2010 - Taking advantage of a short break in the weather, we opened up the new boat house (yes, we've moved the old girl a lot and still have to get her into the water!). Hopefully her next home will come with a dock!
We had such a short and busy summer...we barely had time to work on the boat, and now it's time to close her up for bad weather. C'est la vie.
06/8/2010 - Wishful Thinking. Imagining the water and wishing we were on it. Someday soon, this boat'll be cruising! Now....back to work!
Fairing and sanding with a little help from my awesome nephew!
08/31/2011 - It's the end of summer...and we are finally getting some sun! With the nice weather we pulled the side off for a weeks to get easier access.
We've been fairing, filling, sanding, and fairing, filling, sanding....now we're waiting for the epoxy to gas out so we can prime and paint!!!
09/17/2011 - Stern compartments now have covers that double as seats on either side of the motor well.
The cockpit is spacious without any built-ins.
We're getting closer to paint day. We'll use bright white with the roll and tip method. We have to wait for the epoxy to finish gassing out.

It's taken so much more time that we thought to get all the edges smooth and even. The proof of our efforts will come when we put on the primer coat.
